Training & Consulting

Consulting Calls (included in Web Manage and Web Master): Consulting calls are great for strategy sessions, live editing, or any other type of training needs. Web Maintain does not include consulting calls however, you may use your 30 minute of support time for a consulting call.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the monthly time rollover?

Like most professional’s retainer, the monthly time ensures that your needs will be attended to in a timely manner, so there is no rollover for our Maintain and Manage plans. Be assured that your requests will be attended to in a timely manner, usually within an hour depending on your plan.

The Webmaster plans are customized to the client and allow for a time block for that month specific to their needs.

What happens if my website goes down, is hacked, breaks, etc?

The whole purpose of our client plans is to avoid security risks, so we hope to prevent anything from happening. However, in the case that something does happen to your site, we will be ready to get it back on line as quickly as possible. We cannot promise your website will not be hacked but can promise we will do everything in our power to prevent it, restore it and clean up the site with one of our backups.

What tasks are included in the dedicated support time?

Good Question! The most common client requests are for content updates and small design improvements, but most requests that fit into your monthly support time can be dealt with. Any larger scales request for new features or functionality, or major redesign would most likely require a formal quote as they would probably go over the monthly dedicated time.

How do your consulting calls work?

Email is usually the best and fastest way to communicate with us. However, we know brainstorming works best on the phone or on a video call. Consulting calls are reserved for our Web Manage and Web Master clients. This time helps us determine the growth and improvements needed for your website. Clients may also use this time for online screen-sharing for training or small updates.

What if I need more time?

If you have a task that will span beyond the allotted plan’s time, we will submit a separate quote for you to approve. However, in most cases we can evaluate requests that exceed your plan’s time, and with approval, work beyond the time and bill you at our current support rate.

Can I really cancel anytime?

You bet you can. We try to retain our relationship with our clients and would really hate to see you cancel but we understand that you may have to make that decision. You can request a cancellation and we will immediately stop the next payment.

Dang Good Graphics didn't build my website. Can I still be on a client plan?

Our care plans are usually for sites we build or redesign but we do welcome clients who are looking for a long term relationship with a dedicated webmaster.

In these instances we would need to do a Website Evaluation to become familiar with the website, see how it was built and identify any potential issues that can arise. With the evaluation we will perform all the “Website Updates and Monitoring” tasks and make a full backup. Then we can make a list of issues to fix and suggest improvements needed in order to proceed with the website on a monthly plan. Based on your type of website, this Website Evaluation is a fixed 4-hour fee.
